"Until We Encounter Once more" (さらば悟ご空くう…また逢あう日ひまで Saraba Gokū… Mata Au Hi made, lit. "Goodbye, Goku… Until the Day We Meet Once again") is the seventeenth and concluding episode of the Shadow Dragon Saga, the threescore-4th overall and final episode of Dragon Ball GT, and the final episode of the original Dragon Brawl anime trilogy itself.
Plot
Goku uses energy from all around the universe and kills Omega Shenron with the Super Ultra Spirit Flop. The rest of the Z-Fighters come running to detect Goku unconscious on the ground, when all of a sudden, the original Shenron appears without being summoned, something that has never happened before.
Shenron then heals Goku, and informs him and the other Z-Fighters that he volition not be able to grant any wishes for a long time due to everything that has happened involving the Earth Dragon Balls and their negative energy, merely Goku asks him if he will grant only i "for erstwhile times' sake". He asks Shenron if he tin bring everyone killed by Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons back to life. Shenron grants the wish. Everyone begins to worry that Goku is leaving them over again.
Shenron asks Goku if he will come up along and Goku climbs on Shenron'due south dorsum. After Goku climbs on, a recovering Vegeta runs over and asks Goku where he is going. A moment later, Vegeta realizes that Goku is going to train with Shenron and help fulfill this wish. Before going, Goku tells Vegeta that he is now Earth'southward protector, and tells him that the planet's safety is in his hands now. Goku and Shenron go flying, and the Dragon Balls begin circulating around Goku. Chi-Chi tells Goku to be home in fourth dimension for dinner, but Goku and Shenron fly off. Bulma begins to call back her start time meeting Goku when she was just xvi years old while she was searching for the Dragon Balls and says that she is going to miss him.
Gohan, Videl and Chi-Chi return to their homes. Goten and Gohan try to condolement Chi-Chi by telling her that Goku ever comes dorsum for dinner. Pan asks Trunks if the Dragon Balls will always come up back. Trunks talks to Pan virtually the Dragon Balls, and is confident that they will again come up dorsum i twenty-four hour period. Pan looks worried, and she then stumbles upon Goku'due south Gi. Vegeta tells her to take good care of it and so flies off, leaving Pan alone. They start talking about the past and end upwardly having a picayune play-fight. Krillin wins and so Goku disappears. Main Roshi thanks Shenron for the Dragon Balls. Goku also visits Piccolo, who is now in Hell keeping watch over everyone there. Goku tells Piccolo that he will leave of Hell anytime and then leaves without saying goodbye. Many people see Goku with Shenron, including Yamcha and Puar who are fixing their car, too as Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu, who are busy training.
Goku, feeling tired, lies down on Shenron's back. The Dragon Balls enter Goku'southward torso, with the Four-Star Ball going into his heart, and he then disappears. Shenron lets out one last, mighty roar before vanishing.
100 years later, the 64th World Martial Arts Tournament is underway. A at present-elderly Pan is the last living Z-Fighter, as all the rest have died of natural causes. She has a grandson, Goku Jr., who is participating in the Inferior Division whilst wearing Goku's old Gi. A lady that looks very much similar Bulma sits down correct beside Pan. She wears the earrings of the Sheathing Corporation and is a descendant of Trunks, Bulma, Bulla and Vegeta. She asks Pan if Goku Jr. is her son, but Pan replies "He's my grandson!". The lady apologizes and says that her son is still going to win. In the stadium, in that location are 2 statues dedicated to the two nearly admired heroes in the history of Earth: Mr. Satan and Goku.
Goku Jr.'s opponent is none other than Vegeta Jr.. The fight starts and they both hit each other hard. Vegeta Jr. and then decides to turn into a Super Saiyan and Goku Jr. transforms too. Vegeta Jr. then tells him "Hey, that's pretty cool at that place! I didn't know nosotros could both become blonde!". They resume fighting and the scene switches over to Pan, who looks at the other side of the crowd and sees Goku (now an adult once more without his tail visible) watching the battle. She begins running to where he was at, and the scene goes back to the tournament, where Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. are nonetheless fighting.
The people are shocked at the winner of the tournament, but it is never shown who wins. Pan keeps running until she is outside the stadium, but Goku is nowhere to be seen. Pan begins thinking "Pan, y'all former caprine animal, yous must be seeing things once more..." (or "Yous were here, weren't y'all Grandpa Goku?" in the original Japanese version). Goku is then shown walking through the oversupply. A long flashback of Goku's life is shown, with many of the prominent moments of the Dragon Ball series existence played. After the flashback ends, Goku catches his Power Pole and flies off on the Flying Nimbus cloud. Goku'southward terminal words are "Til we run into again, guys!".
Why It Emotives
- Goku'south bye form is incredible and emotional, so much so that some of his friends know that he will never come back
- To recollect of being unproblematic, the final wish to resurrect everyone who died in the events of the Super 17 saga and the Shadow Dragons, is exciting
- The event of 100 years later with Goku Jr and an sometime Pan, is incredible
- The vocal Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku (the opening of Dragon Brawl GT), is perfect in the end along with the moments of the franchise.
- The animation and the vocalisation acting, both English and Japanese, is much improve than earlier.
Bad Qualities
- Too bad that this ending is the finish of a not-approved series, simply at least years subsequently we had Dragon Brawl Super.
- As usual per this prove, the characters designs, while a scrap better, is even so non very good and nonetheless looks bad.
